Nicolas Romieu is a scriptwriter, director and author, creator of numerous short films and manager of the production company YEAH DUDE, which he founded in 2014. After studying and graduating with an honours degree in audiovisual directing, he travelled the world for 4 years as a cinematographer for discovery documentaries (30×52") and started freelancing as a cinematographer and director. He has directed around twenty short films, some of which have won awards (Best Web Director by the CNC in 2011) and others which have created a buzz on the internet (Headway has had over 20 million views). In 2017, he directed and signed the film for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games commission with UNIVERSAL.
It works directly with advertisers as well as with agencies such as Publicis and TF1 Productions, and has signed around forty TV commercials, including those for major brands such as Orange and SFR, and has produced no fewer than 1,000 communication films for around 100 advertisers and major groups.
Today, he continues to direct commercials and writes personal projects and fiction.
